About
Aurora Bonner is a writer, artist, and teacher who has spent more than fifteen years teaching writing at the university level. She holds an MFA in creative writing and has worked with writers across genres including memoir, personal essay, fiction, and professional writing.
Her approach to mentoring writers combines close reading, thoughtful conversation, and attention to the deeper questions that often emerge through the writing process. She is particularly interested in helping writers clarify the themes, structures, and ideas that give shape to a project.
Services
Aurora works with writers at all stages of the writing process. Sessions may focus on a particular draft, a developing project, or broader questions about craft, structure, and revision.
Together we might:
• discuss the structure or direction of a developing project
• identify and clarify themes and narrative threads
• explore strategies for revision and accountability
• address questions of voice, form, and organization
• identify areas in your writing that feel stalled or stuck
These conversations are intended to offer both thoughtful critical feedback and sustained creative support as writers move their work forward.
Writing consultations can focus on specific pieces of writing or larger projects in development.
