"I could never do a pose like that." 
          "My body is just so different, I can't stand it."
"I wish I could go back to how I used to look."
          "I hate the way (insert: body part) looks."

These are statements I've heard over from clients throughout my years of teaching yoga and fitness, and these are the same thoughts I had before I found yoga. The really crappy part? Most of these thoughts come from women.

Why are we so hard on ourselves?! Why do we compare ourself to how we are "supposed" to be looking and how we "should" be feeling when most women do NOT feel or look that way at all.
 
Stop comparing.

The truth is that many of us have gone through pregnancies, trauma, illnesses, and other experiences that have impacted our bodies and made us the women we are today.
 
Embrace who you are.

Most women deal with unique issues like diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues—and yet some of us don't even know what they are because we don't talk about how to help fix those issues. We only mention them when we're putting ourselves down. Mom pooch. Stomach bulge. Pee issues.

This course is going to show you how to strengthen your core and pelvic floor and help you recognize ways to work on your core through everyday actions. Additionally, it will help you get to know your own body, how it works, and your unique needs.

 

Intro to Core Strength for Women includes tutorials, drills, and full yoga classes to help you better understand your core, improve your posture, strengthen your lower back and feel better.

Intro to Core Strength for Women

(Coming October '21)

This series will focus on toning, tightening, and strengthening the core—that magical middle area that includes your abs, back, glutes, and more. The core is central to the body's functions and crucial for improving balance, supporting the lower back, improving posture, and repairing pelvic floor issues.

This course is for those new to yoga or those with experience who want to find ways to weave core strengthening and core drills into their every day practice.
